The establishment of LDI under Council of Ministers Regulation No. 506/2022 marks a significant milestone in our country’s journey toward transforming livestock into a modern, productive, and competitive sector. Building on the strong foundations of our predecessor institutions, we have embraced a broader and more integrated mandate that connects research, genetic improvement, value addition, capacity building, and investment promotion.
Our mission is clear: to enhance livestock productivity, improve product quality, and strengthen market competitiveness in a way that is inclusive, sustainable, and economically impactful.
